When Physics and Textiles Collide:

Art Textiles inspired by the Large Hadron Collider
When I first came across images of the Large Hadron Collider, buried under Switzerland and part of France, I was struck by the amazing colors and patterns. I knew immediately that this machine would provide inspiration for a series of textile pieces.

To view more of Kate’s work, please visit http://art.findlays.net. She will be exhibiting these works in Reading, Oxford, Henley on Thames, Basingstoke and at the Festival of Quilts at the NEC in Birmingham in 2012 – all dates and times listed on the website.
