Portland, ME based graphic artist Matt W. Moore recently returned from Moscow, Russia, where he exhibited his work at Sretenka Design Week. This latest round of work was created during a residency in Moscow in August 2011. If you were a fan of his older work, you will love this latest series entitled Sun Ray Ricochet. In addition to the color and grey-scale canvases, he also painted three murals, and 17 geometric sculptures. The pieces in the series have prism-like, refractive qualities that often look like optical illusions. I love that he took the same qualities as his paintings and created the three-dimensional sculptures.
